Champagne Paul Lebrun

Côte des Blancs & Côte de Sézanne · 100% Chardonnay

Our Story & Origin

Founded in 1902 in the Grand Cru village of Cramant, Champagne Paul Lebrun has always centered its identity on one grape and one family.

In 1931, Henri Lebrun’s son Paul gave the estate both his name and his vision — a house devoted entirely to Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs and the rolling slopes of the Sézanne region. Today, sixth-generation siblings Nathalie Vignier and Jean Vignier steward 16.5 hectares of Chardonnay, carrying forward a legacy deeply rooted in chalk, craftsmanship, and patience.

The style is quietly powerful: ripe Chardonnay fruit, long lees ageing, and thoughtful low dosage that keeps the wines dry, mineral, and gastronomic.

Terroir & Viticulture

Cramant — Côte des Blancs (Grand Cru)

Pure chalk slopes give the wines vertical acidity, citrus brightness, and powdery chalk minerality.

Côte de Sézanne

Warmer, flinty terroirs with clay-limestone and pebble deposits create fuller, rounder Chardonnay with smoky mineral depth.
